It's almost Christmas alreadyy!!!

Holiday Season is back!
Christmas carols have been on my playlist since a month ago, well...
it's Justin Beiber's Xmas album to be exact *blushhhh* Haha JB! I know.. I know.. what was I thinking... but another busy..crazy year has passed, we deserved a lil guilty pleasure, besides this kid's has got talent.. ;P Anyway! forget about the beibs.. the point is...
It's Christmassss!!

I was lucky enough to get a seat for Adriano Zumbo's baking class yesterday!
Got too excited that I edited the whole 6 hrs video of the class last night... & after countless hours of editing.. I decided it's not appropriate of me to broadcast his class to the world without his permission. So I had to keep it for my personal reference only. :) Sorry,guys..

However.. In this joyous month,
the spirit of sharing is here..
So I've posted a video on his Macaroon piping tips.

I hope he doesn't mind.. I gotta say he's very talented, all his creations are not only beautifully presented,,but it will leave your taste buds and heart in a state of tantalizing bliss..
Bellisimaa...

Thank you Zumboo!!! ^^

Get his recipe book online!!
Happy Holidays everyone!!!

Ballerina & Tutus...

A remake of the fairy ballerina cake.. only sweeter.. :)

Love doves...

Longggg... longgg time ago...
before emails were invented..
before blackberry existed..
doves carry our messages across the nation..
flying over the sea and mountain..
(hmm.. can they really fly that far?)
lol ;P

Jungle Pop Cakes!

Sometime ago.. last year I got myself a copy of Cake Pops by bakerella as one of my Xmas self gift books. I have a habit of buying tons of books I didn't get a chance to read by the end of the year, the more reasons to treat yourself and be your own Santa.. Gift giving is an act of generosity after all..no matter who the recipient is.. lol ;P

So i finally get a chance to make some pop cakes early this year for my nephew's 1st bday!
Happy b'day Preston! ^^

It's very easy to make, could be a lil messy, but fun to do with the kids.
all u need to decorate: colored choco candy, sprinkles, chocolate chips, lollipop sticks, cornflakes/cereals, extra bowls, and styrofoam.
and a cake/cookies.

make a sketch according to the theme that you want.
( be creative in using ingredients that's available to you )

Voila!
Roarrr!
I used milo cereals for the lion's hair. and the kids loved it! ^^

more bunniess!!

Bunny dollsss!!!

I had a request of putting 3D bunny & doggy on a simple round cake.
so here goes.. I added some buttons and stitchings to make it look like hand sewn dolls.

Alice in Wonderland...

These were cookies that I made along with the Alice in Wonderland themed mini cakes.

To match the pop cakes, I designed Alice & bunny with similar details. using royal icing, colored chocolate candy and caster sugar to create some wonderland sparkles to these babies...
No 2 butterflies are alike.. each have different colors and patterns.. with a few layers of royal icing to create textures.
